Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised! We are so happy for what the Lord has done for us this past 20 years of service. Through the ends and outs, highs and lows, to find out he was there all the time taking care of us. Through every test and trial we’ve come to know him greater than ever, to be so faithful “Thank God for Jesus”. Through these years he has taught my wife and I so much about this journey of Faith and as he has abided with others he has also abided with us. Gracefully Divine Love Christian center C.O.G.I.C. was the church God birth in my spirit some 20 years ago. It has made me the man that I am today, to pursue the authentic work and tasks critically before me and to embrace our new church family Evangelist Temple COGIC brilliantly located at 2536 Ogden St. Denver, CO 80205. Where the late Superintendent J.L. Washington (founder) gave his life. “Oh what a privilege and honor it is to unite our church family together with his”. This has been a preeminent experience. His members have been taught so well and educated in every good work. By the time we got there we all had a short moment of transition that worked for our good. Our services have been anointed by God and he has met us every time we have come together in His name. The blessings of the Lord do maketh rich and he addeth no sorrow to it. We give God all the praise for the things he has done for us.
It has been a tremendous privilege to be the Pastor of his (Supt. J.L. Washington) bride. Our Supervisor of Women for the Colorado Jurisdiction, Supervisor Bertha A. Washington. She has been such a help to my prayer and vision for our church family. We thank God for Mother Washington. Her love, friendship, and kindness towards us. Mother Washington was once addressed by the question, how are the churches doing? And Her reply was “We are like a pot of hot water mixed with jello once it has cooled, we are gelling becoming one in the Lord”. Through this we have changed the name of our church to Washington Memorial Temple COGIC.
As Paul states “we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us”, keep us in your prayers, that God will have his perfect way in all that we do.
Together we are stronger, greater, and wiser… “we made it!”.
